SDCC began in 1970 when a group of comics, movie, and science fiction fans banded together to put on the first comic book convention in southern California. Comic-Con started as a one-day “minicon,” with about 300 attendees and has grown to a behemoth that regularly hosts 130,000+ attendees. Over the years, Comic-Con has become the focal point for the world of comics conventions and an annual mecca for genre fans of all stripes.
Limited to 200 guests, must RSVP here, the event starts with two panels of experienced VR professionals discussing workflow process, as well as funding and distribution opportunities for producers. Radiant will then set up tech stations to showcase equipment provided by a variety of companies, manned by experts to describe the different technologies and processes for Augmented Reality, Volumetric, 360 video and virtual reality production. The event will have a few hundred producers attending and will be broadcasted live in enhanced 360 to social media.
